Candidates Should Be:

Liberation Focused

None of us is free until everyone’s free. Prospective clinicians should be open to discussing societal factors impacting mental health and share our values of community care, interdependence, and anti-oppression.

Client
Centered

We treat the whole person, and our work is shaped by what our clients find to be meaningful. We welcome clinicians who will see the client as the expert in their own lives and collaborate with clients throughout their treatment.

Growth
Oriented

We love feedback! And we hope our future colleagues will, too. Feedback from clients and one another helps us to be the best providers we can, and to ensure our work has an impact on our community that lasts long after treatment has ended.

Relationally
Inclined

Therapy is all about the relationship between a therapist and client. We encourage clinicians to build the skills necessary to explore the therapeutic relationship with clients when appropriate – and to solicit and integrate client feedback.
